Please note participation is limited to the first 40 vessels to pay their registration fees.
The regatta is held the first Saturday in November on the beautiful Noosa River and is all about bringing together anyone who owns,
admires or simply enjoys classic motor and sail boats.
This year's events will follow the well received 2011 event with the same simplified format, the get together, formalities and briefing at
Noosa Marina, lots more on water time, including the lake run, the very enjoyable BYO picnic, bbq, in Woods Bay and the end of the
day "Round the Sound Rally"
Participants and guests can purchase their own breakfast and morning tea from the venues on the Marina Deck, followed by the boat
parade (alternate route to first lake for speed boats) from the Noosa Marina, Tewantin to beautiful Woods Bay, Noosa Heads for lunch,
(byo) and social drinks (byo) with fellow boaties.
Owners can now register online (REGISTRATION) and pay via bank transfer or fax/mail and send a cheque as before.
Berthing will be provided at Noosa Marina and later boats will anchor or beach in the shallow protected waters of Woods Bay
Festivities highlights include: Morning tea get together and briefing, awards, Regatta parade and social at Woods Park,
The general public will have an opportunity to view the vessels at Noosa Marina and along the waterway.
ELIGIBLE BOATS ARE
Traditional style wood motor or steam powered boats, putt putts and classic pre-70's motor boats with pre 70's power
(includes cold-moulded type construction).
Traditional style wood sail boats with pre 70's aux power (includes cold-moulded type construction).
All vessels must be able to move along smartly under their own power.
Max Length: 30ft (10 metres).
Be aware that vessels draught should not exceed 3ft (90cm)
